Restoration Service

Rocky Mountain Cruisers offers 4 levels of restoration and service. We offer Platinum, Gold and Silver restorations with as well as a Bronze service recondition package. Outlined below is a guide for what is included in each of our restoration and service packages.

Platinum Level Complete Vehicle Restoration
Start at $65,000.00 (Prices may vary, repairs made based on the vehicle inspection.) The Platinum Level is everything included in the Gold + three or more custom conversions. We can incorporate almost any modern comfort into an FJ40, 45, 55 or 60.
Power steering conversions. Hydraulic steering conversions. Toyota and Chevy V8 conversions up to 500hp, late model Toyota I6 and V6 conversions. LPG conversions available for carbureted vehicles. 4, 5 and 6 speed Toyota manual transmissions as well as many Toyota Automatic transmissions available. Brake options include ABS, Traction control, four wheel disk brakes. Custom suspensions, sliders, bumpers, cages, air and electric lockers and much, much more. Hands free Blu tooth, Hands Free Navigation, mp3 and I-pod integration, A/C.
We can build you a vehicle made to order, from show quality daily drivers to competition Rock Crawlers and Expedition Vehicles. We also have several different body and chassis configurations available including a 4 door soft top and a 6 passenger Hardtop FJ45 Wagon. Our Gold level restoration package is a complete ground-up frame-off restoration of your vehicle. This restoration package is designed to deliver a Land Cruiser that is perfect both mechanically and cosmetically.

The Silver level Restoration is designed not only to get your Land Cruiser back on the road but to make sure that it looks good on the road as well. Although not a frame off restoration, you can rest assured that the Silver level restoration will deliver a good looking a reliable truck.
Silver Recondition Starting at $17,000.00.
This level is best suited for vehicles that are in great mechanical condition with little to no rust.

The Bronze Level Service Package is designed to get your Land Cruiser back on the road. It is a mechanical restoration and service package. When completed, your Land Cruiser will be mechanically reliable and ready to drive. All paint and body work will be left to you to complete or to tackle with us at a later date.

In the end our vehicles are driven to ensure everything is in working order.
The general restoration process encompasses a 2 to 4 month period.
We guarantee all of our work for 2 years or 24,000 miles, which ever comes first.

If you are looking to restore your cruiser, all of our restoration levels require a 1/3 deposit. The second third is applied at the jobs half way point and the third upon delivery of the vehicle.

When the Land Cruiser came to the USA?
|
|
Initially, Land Cruisers quickly found their way to Venezuela, Malaysia, Kuwait, Jordan, Dubai and Australia, where they were ideally suited to challenging driving conditions in those countries. Finally, in 1958, Land Cruiser came to the United States. Just one unit was sold in that first year.
